Many years ago, while traveling in Australia, I came across the concept of an independent car rental company. In every city we visited, major car rental corporations would line the streets with major prices. Also in every city, usually right around the corner from the big 5 would be an independent agency that offered every quality of the large corporations with the added benefits of flexibility, greater knowledge, and better pricing. We soon learned through hard experience which business style truly valued us as a customer. The independent car rental companies seemed to always fit our needs better than country-wide franchises or corporate owned stores. We were well satisfied with the experience of the staff behind the counter, of which we were sure were the same people who cleaned the vehicles.
It did not take long for us to realize the potential for an independent car rental company that served the customer before the bottom line. We took this concept back to Canada, and formed a completely independent rental agency based on the same combined values we found in Australia. Best Choice Auto Rentals was born.
